Dr. Carrie graduated from Iowa State Veterinary School in 2007. Since then, she has loved working with cats and dogs in the valley. She is passionate about internal medicine with emphasis on how disease effects the body as a whole. If you only treat part of the problem, pets are not as comfortable and happy as they should be. In addition, she has experience with dermatology, nutritional supplementation, pain management with multiple modalities, surgery and dentistry. She has more advanced training in the areas of feline medicine and Low Stress/ Fear Free Handling. Every patient deserves to feel comfortable going to the doctor, so she strives to make each visit the best it can be.
Dr. Carrie has 4-legged as well as a 2-legged child. She has 1 Maine Coon and several domestic short hair cats. She likes to say she is a cat mom and a dog aunt. She gets to spoil her canine patients with out worrying if her cats will accept a dog at home. Outside the clinic Dr. Carrie loves to sew and quilt along with gardening, reading, and hiking.
